On Exhibition January 7, 2022- March 25, 2023

The Paterson Great Falls has dual, sometimes conflicting, identities. The first, as a natural wonder, a scenic beauty and a tourist attraction. The second, as a source of power, providing the energy needed by the industries that developed into the City of Paterson. This exhibit explores the waterfall’s long journey from a natural resource and industrial tool to becoming a protected park.

Paterson Great Falls: From Power to Park features historical and modern photographs, original artwork inspired by the Falls, scale models of park and much more. The exhibit will be on display through March 25, 2023 in the Hannah Memorial Gallery, at The Paterson Museum.
