Paterson Eco-Chic II

On Exhibition September 16, 2018- November 13, 2018

Continuing the success of the Museum’s 2017 Paterson Eco-Chic, this exhibition proposed a closer look at the deleterious impact that plastic bags have on our environment. Paterson Eco-Chic II, under Art Curator Cristina Deutsch, was an eco-friendly fashion project designed for the Paterson Museum that highlighted the importance of sustainable and environmental responsibility. The exhibition incorporated the results of a collaborative research project with Ramapo College students on the use of reusable shopping bags. Paterson Eco-Chic II was funded in part, through a grant from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, and UBMS was funded through a Trio grant from the U.S. Department of Education.
