Paterson Eco-Chic I

On Exhibition September 17, 2017- January 31, 2018

The Museum’s first fashion exhibition, Paterson Eco-Chic, was an eco-friendly art installation focusing on Environmental Responsibility. Weaving Paterson’s textile industry past with its future, the exhibit curated by Cristina Deutsch, showcased fifteen wearable art pieces produced by Bergen County Academies students, guest artists and designers. The garments were made of recyclable materials donated by Paterson manufacturing companies. This project was made possible, in part, by a grant administered by the Passaic County Cultural & Heritage Council from funds granted by New Jersey State Council on the Arts.
