Wright Flight

Wright Aeronautical was aircraft manufacturer descending from the original aviation firm of the Wright Brothers. They were headquartered in Paterson, NJ where they built engines that would be used for their own aircraft as well as the aircraft of other builders. The Spirit of St. Louis, which was the first non-stop flight across the Atlantic Ocean from New York to Paris, was flown by Charles Lindberg using a Wright Aeronautical air-cooled engine.

Instructions

Creating the Playing Piece

Step 1- Each player cut a 1.5” square piece of paper

Step 2- Using markers or colored pencils, customize your square. Uniqueness is key

Step 3- Fold the square into an airplane

Getting Started
  • This game can be played with 2-6 players

  • Cut out the game cards
  • Set the game cards on the game board face down
  • All players place their airplane on the New York square on the game board
How to Play
  • The youngest player goes first, then the game continues clockwise
  • On your turn, pick a game card and move your plane as directed on the card. Skip your turn if you are directed to move more spaces than are available on the board or if someone is in the spot your landed on
  • Each player takes their turn, the game continues and the first player to make it to Paris wins!
