23 Nov The Paterson Museum Foundation
Founded in 2017, the Paterson Museum Foundation is the non-profit organization which assists the Paterson Museum by providing funding for a variety of museum projects, including artifact acquisition and conservation, exhibit displays, and archival preservation. The Foundation organizes fundraising events and pursues grant opportunities to further assist the Paterson Museum in its educational efforts and outreach.
To date the Paterson Museum Foundation has assisted the Paterson Museum with a variety of projects including:
- The purchase of artifacts for exhibition
- The purchase of new display cases for the Hannah Gallery
- Facilitating the digitization of the Museum’s extensive Glass Plate Negative collection
- Two ongoing lecture series via zoom- Historical Speakers and Chats with Passaic County Historian Edward A. Smyk
