02 Sep Shakespeare at the Museum
September 23-24
Shakespeare at the Museum: Shakespeare is back at the Paterson Museum this Fall! On September 23rd and September 24th visitors may find themselves transported to Elizabethan times. The Paterson Museum will host ATC Studios’ Summer Shakespeare Conservatory for four performances of The (Mini) Tempest. The debut performance will take place at 7pm on Friday September 23rd, in the Hannah Gallery. On Saturday September 24th, there will be three open air performances in front of the museum at 11am, 12:30pm and 2pm. All performances are free of charge, donations gratefully accepted.
All are welcome to join us at the Museum for this great introduction to Shakespeare. The performance, about an hour long, is definitely user-friendly: a great introduction to the Bard, and a wonderful treat for those who know the work well. If you are attending an outdoor performance, please bring beach chairs, lawn chairs, or a blanket. In the event of weather, the outdoor performances will move indoors. For more information, contact ATC studios at 862-243-2827.
This program is made possible in part by a grant administered by the Passaic County Cultural & Heritage Council from funds granted by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.
