Lou Costello

Arguably, one of Paterson’s most famous native sons, Lou Costello, christened Louis Francis Cristillo, formed half of the comedy duo of Abbot and Costello. In 1935, they became a household name on radio, television and in the movies.

In this exhibit, learn about Lou’s family life and Paterson connections, and see a rare trophy presented to the comedian during their War Bond Tour in 1942.
